Lansing Venues (1.25 hr from The Ark)

Hi all,

I'm an Arkoholic but am pleased to see growth in my town in the folk arena. The Ten Pound Fiddle coffee house has been around for ages, but is really starting to come into its own, and is booking more recognizable names these days (ie: John Gorka, Tom Paxton). Check them out! Website @ www.tenpoundfiddle.org, e-mail for bookings is fiddle_book@music.com The booking agent's name is Patrick Power.

Also, we have a fledging venue, hasn't even been opened a year yet, but it's a wonderful little space. Capacity is approx. 75, inside an art gallery. It's called the Creole Gallery, website www.lansing.com/creolegallery/

I'd love to see any or all of the Yellowtail artists come to Lansing, Michigan! Either venue would be excellent in conjunction with an Ark appearance, although Ten Pound Fiddle only does concerts on Friday nights.
