Were you kidding about the Roches comment? I always enjoyed them, and even though their lyrics were not nearly as strong as UB, they still were fun to listen to(even though at times I had no idea what the heck they were singing about). I always thought they were fans of UB. In fact one of the Roches around 1981 visited a NYC station and played a UB song. I never thought of them as UB knockoffs.Is there some feud that developed????
