A few thoughts on requests:

1. A group that performs very regularly is in a better position to do requests because they know all the songs well enough. UB isn't really in that position.

2. A request is one person's want though it may be what others want also. But it also removes another song from the set list that perhaps many would love to hear. No one gets to know what the song is the request replaces.

3. We (those posting here) have most the songs on CD and are already fans. I'd like to hear songs that will make more fans and keep UB coming to Ann Arbor and performing in general, not necessarily my personal favorites.

4. Performers have to put on a good show either with or without song requests. I'm happy to let them figure out if requests work for them or not.


I'm happy to hear that UB puts lots ot thought into what they perform and the order of songs.
I've never been dissappointed yet. Keep the live
performances coming.

I was lucky enough to see both performances. Yes, I'm still smiling...
