Personal CD player for daily gym workout, which changes approximately weekly, has Barenaked Ladies, "Gordon" - and track 9, 'My Box Set', is the perfect elliptical trainer cut, and it comes JUST as I'm running outta steam.

Car player is alternating between Peter Mulvey, '10000 Mornings' (amazing stuff, recorded live in the Boston subway) and Susan Werner, "I Can't Be New" (oh my....).

Kitchen player has David Roth, 'Think Twice', Uncle Bonsai, 'Plain Brown Wrapper', and the soundtrack to Sondheim's 'Into the Woods'.

(hey, what can I say, there's almost always a Broadway soundrack somewhere in the mix, AND I'm going to see it this weekend so I wanted to brush up)

(hey, come to think of it, there's almost always a Bonsai disc somewhere, too, but, sadly, I'm NOT going to see them this this weekend)

Living room player is currently featuring Peter Mulvey, Jeff Focault and Kris Delmhorst, "Redbird".

And in the bed/bath, for no particular reason other than 'Bohemian Rhapsody' is a great tune to wake up to, Queen's Greatest Hits.

What, doesn't everybody have a CD player in every room?

: OK. This place is getting quiet again and it looks as though no one's playing until August. I don't know if anyone checks in during the breaks, but I'll start a discussion.

: What's on your CD Player right now? What are the 5 CDs you're currently listening to? They don't have to be new CDs, just what's on there at the moment. They don't have to be Uncle Bonsai CDs, although I happen to have one on my list. I'll start:

: 1. Doug - Uncle Bonsai
: This is a really listenable CD! It's nice having the different voices but more than that, the songs are some of Andrew's best.
: 2. The Wind - Warren Zevon
: His last CD has some beautiful songs.
: 3. Richard Thompson - Old Kit Bag
: 4. Pink Floyd - The Wall (Just bought it.)
: 5. The Beatles - Let It Be (Naked)
