Victory Music is a non-profit organization founded in 1969 to support local acoustic, jazz, and folk music. The mission of Victory Music is to encourage, promote and support the creation, performance, recording, documentation and appreciation of all types of acoustic oriented music through education, networking and advocacy by providing:

• opportunities for live performance and recording by regional artists;
• classes, seminars and workshops;
• information resources and archives;
• and by working toward conditions in society which encourage artistic expression.

Victory Music was instrumental in the rise and success of Uncle Bonsai and other Yellow Tail artists. It was at a Victory Music open mic that Uncle Bonsai first performed; it was Victory Music that recommended Uncle Bonsai for it's first show, at The Engine House #9 in Tacoma; it was Victory Music who supported and encouraged Uncle Bonsai. And now, Victory Music has helped to reunite the group by sponsoring the Uncle Bonsai reunion shows.

Victory Music sponsors concerts, workshops, recordings, and publishes a monthly magazine, the Victory Music Review. Membership in this organization, only $30 per person/$40 for a family, entitles you to subscription to the review, and discounts on all Victory Music sponsored concerts...including the Uncle Bonsai shows. In addition, starting July 1, 2000, Yellow Tail Records will offer a $2.00 per item discount on all our CDs and Cassettes for Victory Music members. That's $2.00 per item, not per order...no limit.
