Now Melynda's gone, victim of a pulmonary embolism. She lay in a hospice room for ten days, and I brought several comfort CDs that she liked -- I know she was never conscious, but it still seemed like the right thing. Faure's Requiem, an album of songs by Reynaldo Hahn and others, Brahms' Chorale Preludes, -- and Elusive.

I hope I'll be back for more concerts. But, sadly, Melynda won't.

Were these 3 recordings from the LONELY GRAIN sessions or was another studio album started?  And WHY was there never another studio release?  I know you guys didn't have a label and I'm assuming there was a cost issue, also the fact that your fans knew you so well from live performances.  But some of your songs would sound so much better with overdubs and additional instrumentation.  I LOVE the LONELY GRAIN album AND these 3 bonus studio recordings.  I would love to hear more and am very excited the new release will have a studio album WITH a live album!  But, are there anymore old studio recordings that haven't been released?

I hope I haven't overwhelmed everyone with so many questions!  I've been purchasing the albums in order, and look forward to hearing the 90's and 21st Century recordings of UB soon!  I will definitely be spreading the word about you guys and hopefully you will have more new fans join the fold!
