On August 4, 1998, Uncle Bonsai, Mel Cooleys, and Electric Bonsai Band (it's not electric...it's not a band), got together at the Nippon Kan Theatre to perform and record all the "Doug" songs. (This was the first time that the group Uncle Bonsai had performed together in almost 10 years.) The evening was such a success that Yellow Tail Records decided to release it on compact disc. Doug includes two Electric Bonsai Band songs: Doug's First Job and Doug at the Gates of Hell. SONGS
